Refund Policy

Maestiq (the "Company") operates the following refund policy to protect user rights. This Policy supplements Section 6 of the Terms of Service.

1. Subscription Refunds

You may request a refund within 30 days of your first subscription payment.

Refund amount = Payment − Value of credits used (calculated at $0.05/credit)

Examples: - Starter ($19): used 20 credits, refund requested after 3 days → $19 − (20 × $0.05) = $18 refunded - Pro ($29): used 100 credits, refund requested after 10 days → $29 − (100 × $0.05) = $24 refunded

After 30 days, the Service continues until the next billing date. You may cancel auto-renewal at any time for future periods.

2. 7-Day Free Trial Cancellation

New subscribers receive a 7-day free trial.

  • Cancel within the trial period: No charge, no refund needed
  • Do not cancel before trial ends: Automatic first-month charge
  • After the automatic charge: Section 1 (30-day refund policy) applies

2-A. Signup Welcome Benefits (Non-Refundable)

The following promotions are granted free of charge to new users and are not eligible for refunds (see Terms of Service Section 5A):

  • 50 Welcome Credits: Expire automatically 3 days (72 hours) after signup. Unused credits are not refundable, transferable, or extendable.
  • 24-Hour Max Plan Sneak Peek: Free 24-hour preview that reverts to the Free plan automatically; no separate refund process applies.

Welcome credits are excluded from the "value of credits used" calculation in Section 1 (tracked separately from credits funded by paid transactions).

3. Credit Pack Refunds (One-Time Purchase)

Credit Packs are refundable within 30 days of purchase for the unused portion.

Refund amount = Pack price × (remaining credits / total pack credits)

Example: - $5 (100-credit pack) purchased, 30 credits used, refund requested after 7 days → $5 × (70/100) = $3.50 refunded

4. How to Cancel Your Subscription

Cancel your subscription via any of the following:

  • In-Service: [Settings → Billing] → "Cancel Subscription"
  • Paddle Buyer Portal: Link in your payment receipt email
  • Email: Request cancellation at hi@supascoop.com (processed within 24 hours)

After cancellation, the Service remains active until the end of the current billing period and will not auto-renew. Credits already deducted are not refundable (Section 1 applies separately).

5. How to Request a Refund

Email hi@supascoop.com with:

  • Your registered email
  • Payment date and order ID (refer to Paddle receipt)
  • Refund reason (optional)

We will respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method within 7-14 business days (depending on your card issuer or bank).

6. EU Consumer Cooling-Off Right

European Union residents may exercise an unconditional 14-day withdrawal right under EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU).

Exception: This right is waived once you begin using the digital Service (Art. 16(m) digital content exemption). If you wish to exercise the withdrawal right, contact hi@supascoop.com before using the Service.

7. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds are not available when:

  • 30 days have passed since first subscription payment (future auto-renewal cancellation still possible)
  • 30 days have passed since Credit Pack purchase, or all credits have been used
  • Welcome credits granted at signup (free promotion, expires automatically after 3 days)
  • 24-hour Max-plan sneak peek (free promotion, ends automatically after 24 hours)
  • Account was terminated due to violation of Terms Section 7 (prohibited conduct)
  • Chargeback filed through Paddle (governed by Paddle terms separately)
