Terms of Service

"Service" means the SaaS platform providing collection, analysis, and insights on YouTube trending videos across 36 countries.

"User" means any person using the Service, whether registered or not.

"Credits" are virtual units deducted when using AI analysis features (Distill, X-Ray, Mix).

You may register via email or social login (Clerk authentication). Users under 14 are not permitted to register.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account. You may delete your account at any time via [Settings]; upon deletion, your data will be removed immediately, except payment records retained for 5 years pursuant to Korean E-Commerce Law.

The Service includes:

• Feed: Real-time YouTube trending videos across 36 countries
• Scoop Score: Virality potential index based on views, engagement, and freshness
• Distill (Metadata AI Analysis): Trend insights from title, view count, and country data
• X-Ray (Multimodal AI Analysis): 4-axis decomposition of video structure (intent, reaction, breakdown, action kit)
• Mix: Cross-analysis of two videos
• Save, filter, and notification features

We may add, modify, or remove features for improvement. Material changes will be announced at least 30 days in advance, and users who disagree may cancel and request refund of unused credits.

Plans: Starter ($19/mo), Pro ($39/mo), Max ($59/mo), and one-time Credit Packs.

Auto-Renewal: All subscriptions renew monthly or annually on the billing date. You may cancel anytime via [Settings → Billing] or by contacting hi@maestiq.com. Upon cancellation, the Service remains active until the end of the current billing period.

Pro 14-Day Free Trial: New Pro subscribers receive a 14-day free trial. You may cancel before the trial ends with no charge. A payment card is required at signup and will be charged automatically at the end of the trial unless canceled.

Payment Processing: The Company uses Paddle Commerce Inc. ("Paddle") as Merchant of Record. Payment-related matters are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms (https://www.paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms).

Taxes: Prices shown exclude taxes. VAT, GST, or other applicable taxes based on your country of residence will be added separately.

Detailed refund terms are provided in the separate Refund Policy. In summary:

• Within 14 days of first subscription payment: Refund available, less the value of credits used
• Pro Free Trial: No charge if canceled within the trial period
• Credit Pack (one-time): Unused portion refundable
• Auto-renewal: Same 14-day policy applies after renewal

EU residents have a 14-day cooling-off right under the EU Consumer Rights Directive. This right is waived once you begin using the digital Service (Art. 16(m) exemption).

You may not:

• Scrape or bulk-collect Service data via automated means
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
• Misuse or share another user's account credentials
• Circumvent or manipulate the credit system
• Infringe on third-party copyright, trademark, or other rights
• Interfere with Service operation (DoS, excessive requests)
• Violate applicable laws or public order

The Company may restrict access or terminate accounts for violations without prior notice.

The Service uses YouTube Data API Services. You must comply with YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms) and Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy) when using the Service.

You are responsible for any use of video data obtained through the Service that violates YouTube API Services Terms.

Distill, X-Ray, Mix, and other AI-based analysis results are informational only and do not constitute investment, business, or legal advice. Accuracy, completeness, and timeliness are not guaranteed. You are solely responsible for decisions made based on analysis results.

Scoop Score and similar metrics are predictions based on historical and current data; future performance is not guaranteed.

All software, design, logos, domains, analysis algorithms, and aggregated data of the Service are owned by the Company.

Original video content (titles, thumbnails, view counts) belongs to respective YouTube creators or Google LLC. The Company only collects and processes publicly available metadata through the YouTube Data API and claims no copyright over original content.

By submitting feedback, suggestions, or reports through the Service, you grant the Company a non-exclusive, perpetual, royalty-free license to use them.

The Service may be suspended for:

• Scheduled maintenance or updates
• Third-party infrastructure outages (Cloudflare, Supabase, Paddle, Google, etc.)
• Force majeure events (natural disasters, war, terrorism)

The Company will provide advance notice when possible and disclaims liability for interruptions not caused by willful misconduct or gross negligence.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or error-free operation.

The Company's total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the dispute, except for damages arising from willful misconduct or gross negligence.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any dispute arising from the Service shall be subject to the Seoul Central District Court as the court of first instance, subject to mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence where applicable.

The Company may update these Terms due to legal or Service changes. Notice will be provided at least 7 days (30 days for material changes) before the effective date via in-Service announcement or email. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
